Although the bag basically looks the same, my how it has changed. The leather: It is either USA domestic number 1 grade deerskin tanned and dyed to our specific requirements. Or, when it is available, we buy New Zealand Number 1 grade leather. It’s the best of the best. New Zealand deerskin is farm raised and almost flawless. We can only get it to our specific requirements occasionally. When it is gone, it’s gone!
